Morning Walks

So good to spend time with her following 14 months of Covid separation.

I was just beginning a rocky road to recovery from a low back sprain in early Spring. Not serious to begin, but complications from compensatory muscle strain in my right thigh had reduced walking to excruciating attempts to go the length of our short lane in Davis.

I acquired a pair of Nordic walking poles the week before my trip down to Atwater. Their assistance for realigning my gait was nearly instant.  Walking the canal, (even at 6AM to beat the valley heat setting in by 7AM), was sheer joy!
